BCCDC Competency Course
B.C. Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) offers an on-line course for immunization providers. The course is available to Pharmacists, Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses, and Registered Nurses in BC. There are limits and conditions that apply to RPN practice with respect to prescribing, compounding, dispensing, and administering immunizations. These limits and conditions can be found on pages 52-54 (section 5.1.11(6)) of the Scope of Practice for Registered Psychiatric Nurses – Standards, Limits and Conditions.
The BCCDC immunization online competency course is made up of 3 components: 15 modules, a final online exam and an immunization skills checklist. The immunization skills checklist is the practical component of the course and designed to be used in conjunction with the online modules and final exam.

- The updated access code is bccdc357.
- Pass mark is 100% and you will get a certificate of completion.
- You print your electronic certificate of completion for your employer.
