Why do I need a resumé?

Resumés can be written for various reasons, like promotions within an organization, or as attachment for a business plan but the most common reason is to apply for a new job. Whatever your reason for writing a resume, its basic purpose is the same:

  • The resumé will communicate your experience.
  • The resumé will communicate your skills.
  • The resumé will show your education and qualifications related to a specific position with an employer.

Why Is A Good Resume So Important?

A good resumé will highlight your strengths and accomplishments and will be your personal marketing tool designed to get an interview where you can really strut your stuff.
