The RPN regulatory bodies in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan have entered into an Endorsement Agreement in order to facilitate inter-provincial mobility for RPNs by permitting persons with Practicing registration or eligible for Practicing registration with one of the regulators noted below to register with any of the other regulators in the Agreement.
- College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of British Columbia (CRPNBC)
- College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA)
- Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
- College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM).

As of January 4, 2016, all applicants who completed their psychiatric nursing education program in a location other than BC are required to successfully complete the CRPNBC online learning module Introduction to BC RPN’s Ethical, Professional and Legal Responsibilities prior to registering with the College. Access to the module is provided as part of the application process. There is no fee for taking the module, and it is typically completed in 2-4 hours.
